The Green Sheet is a document which provides information players should have about how a game is going to be run. It may contain specific information about how to recognize and interact with specific character powers, safety topics, guidance on specific game mechanics, or various other topics. It is often printed on green paper to distinguish it from character sheets and other documents, but a Green Sheet does not need to literally be green.
While the Green Sheet details out-of-character information for players to know, it has a corollary Blue Sheet which details in-character common knowledge and setting information for a particular game.
Below details an example Green Sheet which can be edited for various games.
Power Scaling
What is the power scaling across player characters? What can other characters do? (small overlap with Blue Sheet, but with more OOC context)
Player Narrative Controls
Some Witchgate mechanics provide more narrative control to players and their characters than many games within the genre allow. For LARPs specifically, a GM may not always be available to arbitrate these situations. When utilizing these mechanics, players can reference here for guidance:
- Lost Words:
 - Utilizing Esoterics:
 - Moirai’s Read Fortune ability:

OOC Signals and Playthrough
Within a LARP, players may need to signal their character is utilizing a magical power without overtly telling everyone out loud. In other instances, a player may request for help roleplaying a power or a summoned NPC. For these scenarios, players may reference here for guidance:
- Stealth:
- crossarms

 - Demonoligists:
- fingers crossed behind back
 - Demons are selfish and want what’s worse for the summoner, but must abide by the word of their agreements, can’t cross thresholds, and prefer not to stay summoned for long (they may disappear at will).

 - Disguise: Dopplegangers
